Pretty simple, Santa will check his list (maybe even twice), and then pick a name out of a hat for each name on the list. Santa will then proceed to PM everyone on said list and give them info on who their giftee is.
At that point, it's up to you to check the giftee's profile and wishlist on Steam to see what would make a good gift. Then you buy something, and gift it within the dates we mentioned. That's it.
Probably wouldn't hurt if everyone in the list in the OP would friend everyone else now so we don't need to do it later.

His posts on FB are mostly game related too, and somewhat more highbrow than his posting on here was imho.
Yeah I don't think it's the elitism thing. He plays mostly artsy fartsy games and dislikes the majority of mass market blockbuster games. I must say I quite enjoy many of his Facebook posts.

BTW, one of the things Steam does that drives me fucking nuts is the inability to add packs to wishlists. And since those packs can be made up of quite a few games or DLC, adding each one individually is a major pain in the ass. I recommend that if anyone has a pack they want, post it here.

Renzatic here. I'm now friends with some guy named Vladmir Von Crack Sparrow, and I don't know who that is. And that scares me.

See, now I feel like you're stalking me, and that's scary x2.
I dunno if I can handle this secret santa stuff, people. Too much mystery.
