The new assistant is hot - smart and sexy
The monsters looked really good.
The story thumped along

but does any one still care or is doctor who now just doctor, who?*

also - no sign of (http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109714&highlight=torchwood) captain jack yet (boo hiss)

*(my answer is hell no this programme has to keep running - I wanna see doctor 10 squabbling with 9 until number 7 comes and cracks them all over the head with his umbrella and number 8 makes everyone a nice cup of TEA!)

Jack will be back around episode 11, I think. Radio Times has a big feature on it, including the episode guide for the new series.

I've never been so confused about a Dr.Who episode !

[spoiler]Dr.Who not knowing that he had just spoken to the medical trainee was weird ... until his little trick at the end of the episode explained it, which was great.[/spoiler]

apparently David Tennant insisted that he be credited as the doctor while Eccleston was credited as Doctor Who, and i read this on the ~~imdb~~ wikipedia... so it must be true

wow - how is that for subconscious voodoo stuff, I have been enjoying LotR on-line early release all day and quit only just now (stuff you beautiful sunshine). I quit out only now to note the time 7:30pm - obviously I have missed most of doctor who (New earth again too!).

But NO! - The football is putting it back later - I have 5 minutes to grab some food and then watch doctor who... and I suggest you all do the same.

(see if that stupid football goes into extra time :mad: )
