ok i need a spoiler on how to get to butcher area i was i borthel and i have his key but i dont know how to get there
and how to get to the argan house both doors are blocked by the iron fence
stupid me i've got the key but i forgot where to use it
but i have diffrent problem i cant find the way to the manor of deville

the butcher:

I haven't had a problem with finding my way around in Night Two. I just had a problem with the first night. The only thing I need to find much more of is either healing fruit or the potion. Does anyone know of any other place other than the Mrs. Dowson or however its spelled near the Brothel. Everytime I get to battle one of the sisters I loose lots of health points.:erg: I also have had many flash bombs and I am completely out of them too.

As for the sisters in Night two, at the brothel, time them. I hear on loosing the health points. The first sister, in the hallway, depending on the difficulty setting, [SPOILER]if you're standing by the elevator, she will eventually turn to the right, and walk down the hallway a bit, run out, and knock her out. You can get her that way. It can be done without taking damage, you just have to time it just right. You can do it! Do the same thing for the other sister in the bedroom, wait till she turns her back and BAM![/SPOILER]

You are not forced to "get to battle" the sisters. You can KO them, or you can even ghost them. The only thing you have to do is to grab their amulet. I hope that you have noticed that they highlight like an object, didn't you?
As for the loot, did you [SPOILER]visited the art merchant?[/SPOILER]

Thanks, I got it. I finished night two after getting to the art gallery and [SPOILER]found the secret ladder in the Burrick Inn.[/SPOILER]I also found my health potion I was looking for there and the Burrick (Butcher's) contained food........:thumb: 2:35 on night two; 2:45 minutes on nihht one. Now I'm in night three. Can't wait to see the end.

Yes, I did notice the sister's highlights, but everytime I go near them something sets their awareness I am near.:o

I wonder if anyone else has encountered this:
I had 2 holy water vials when I picked up a third one (Manor Street, cellar behind fence) - and despite taking it the item number in my inventory did not increase but remained just 2! Then I found another one somewhere which, perplexingly, REMOVED one of those precious vials from the backsack, leaving me with only one left. :confused: ???

This is not a random glitch: I've just replayed that part from a previous hard save with 2 vials, and it happened again (at least the Manor street cellar episode, with the 3rd flask evaporating).:weird:
Can't Garrett hold more than 2 vials at the same time?

http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/8494/waterjm4.jpgBecause it hasn't happened to anyone else I think you have probably got a glitch in your saved game. The only way to be sure is to go back to even earlier saves - if it still happens, try restarting the mission.

Thanks for commenting. I don't remember this happening in Night 1, though once I recognized the need I was eager to collect them there as well.
Perhaps it's related to having to silence the second unit of my Core 2 Duo. Thief 2 keeps crashing when both cores are running, but occasionally I forget setting the program affinity to only CPU0 and this may indeed mix up some of my saves:confused: . Just speculating, of course.
BTW, does anyone have a lootlist? I've been at every corner mentioned in this thread, completed all objectives including the optional ones, found all three secrets, but still missing almost 1000 in cash … must have missed a large area:mad:
