Fidcal's Log : Day 25 : gamesave time 18:35 + 11:55-ish. Finally got into mayor's place. I had been looking at the wrong window before. Again, I think this mission would benefit from just a little more shadow at a few crucial points. You can run but you can't hide. Had to hike cross city with heart and back again to make this feasible. There is a low grid outside the mayor's but I could not find any secret exit inside. But where next? That north west area seems impenetrable. But then so did the mayor's... I have a feeling you have to climb up somewheres and switch of the lights to get in that back door in Desolation Row. Dylan's lyrics don't help me here.

Fidcal's Log : Day 26 : gamesave time 19:05 + 12:10-ish. Short session but good progress today. Finally got into Madame's. Only took me 26 sessions since last Christmas. Haha! :cheeky: Must be some kind of record - the longest time it took to get into one place. Have cured all necessary but don't know how many more to complete optional. And another interesting optional objective too...

Fidcal's Log : Day 28 : gamesave time 20:35 + 12:45-ish. Good progress again. Main objectives now done but only got 3492 out of 4500 loot needed on expert. Plus optionals : healings and proof still wanted.

Summary
- Had to skip the silver nugget (50) in the mech safe in the southeast. The iron beast made a comment when opening the grate.
- The zombie baker commented on me picking his lock. A requirement to finish the optional objective. Supreme busted early.
- Skipped the necklace (200) on the nightstand of lady’s room at Mrs. Peacock’s for Supreme. She grumbled when I opened the door.
- Couldn’t avoid a 1st alert from the stationary swordsman in Deville’s yard when leaving the balcony. It’s either this or leaving a rope arrow stuck in the rafter. Both violate Supreme.
- Got two more comments from the stationary archer in the front yard when opening and closing the nearby door to the guard tower.
- Had to turn off the 3 light switches on the brothel bottom floor to reach the butcher’s key behind the bar counter. Supreme busts.
- Alerted Violet with an utterance picking her safe at the brothel. Supreme bust. (Can be avoided if destroying her heart first)
- Had to skip releasing Pinky and hence not getting the 400 loot available for Supreme. The nearby stationary burrick grunted from the lockpicks.
- Had to skip the 835 loot in the thieves’ den below Hobb’s Fine Wines for Supreme. The stationary thief alerted when opening (and closing) the grate.
- Had an unnecessary water arrow pickup, as I didn’t know the two zombies by the cathedral could be cured in one shot. Supreme violation.
- Got a comment from the nearby guard going for the sewer maintenance 3 door. Last Supreme breach.
- The body discovered has got to be Brunhilde finding Scarlett in the brothel hallway. An inescapable result of the objective, so no bust.
Fidcal's Log : Day 31 gamesave time 22:40 +15:00-ish. Finished with 4684 out of 6900 loot on expert. But only 1 secret out of 3. Can't remember which one I found now. I also realized I'd already got the proof so only needed to place it. The only option I didn't finish was healing. I went back over the city scavenging for extra loot, infected, and secrets and like in Night 1 I re-found an infected I'd forgotten about near the start (days ago in my case.) But no holy water! Oh well, I ruined it anyway, She alerted but I slipped away but then I gamesaved. Big mistake. She came out and some guards saw here and killed her so she is beyond my help now. My last named gamesave was back up near Sewer 3 an hour ago and bits of loot I found in between so I don't want to do that again.
The dragon doors in the mayor's place are vastly superior to the ones I made in Nightwatch though similar motif so I was envious there. And generally the decor and architecture excellent very pleasant on the eyes and it's big enough to get a real sense of a town. Good atmosphere especially loved the Dancing Burrick Inn and also Earl's Court and Sir Giles' place and Madame's establishment, oh and Oak Square - and the butchers and the back of that oh yes and Argan's and Pigeon's Court was great and of course that holy place in the Hammers complex - and some of the views like from the balcony of Madame's and above the Police Station oh yes and this is probably the only mission with gay librarians and well pretty well everything really except one stone probably oh and the cobwebs were not as good as mine but that's about it heehee :) So only 99.99999% for this mission. :thumb:
I think you probably can ghost this and finish but it is really optimised for blackjacking so you might need to skip some items. This involved loot and since I only just got enough (4684 out of 4500 needed) I can't say how hard the alternatives might be. Also I was trapped and thought I was forced to KO one AI to get out but later I wondered if I should have
claimed a reward instead (from Mrs. Dowson) and that damn baby burrick then went and stood in the entry way facing into Westgate Wharf and forever after I had to walk the long way round. I could not remove it. Maybe a few KOs to weaken it then a frogbeast but I gave up. Maybe my own fault for KOing its mistress.Yeah, just rememembered Klatremus' loot lists @ (
http://home.online.no/~ajnilsen/hn/SS3_L.htm). So browsing down I think it is not some big cache of loot I missed but odd items here and there. So many I can hardly remember what I got and what I missed. Secrets - the one I did get was
on the body in the sewer. I was suspicious from Night 1 when I found that deep pit empty but it looked as though something should be there. The other two secrets I missed. No matter how thorough one is, it is a big town to search every corner!.
I think it would have been better if the
cat had died when you get the peg to give the impression it had starved or something while you were away. I think it was still crying right up to opening the way in.Think I'll call it a day and on to Night 3.

I still can't get into the mayors house.
I know a window is lose, but I don't see anything I can rope onto.
I've done Sir DeGiles place. The chimney was no problem. I'm good on cash. I've been through the butcher's place. I need to find the last Sister, and get out.
Also, the baby burrick seems to be bugged. I've led him all the way to his house, and he cannot seem to be knocked out.
I really enjoyed the first night, but I am having problems with the second.

To get to the Mayors house.
There is a low drain pipe with steam coming out of it near sewer maintenance 2, mantle up from it unto the wall.
Also
The baby Burrick. you should lead/follow him home, don't knock him out!. You will get a reward from the Lady.

I did eventually find the wood to get into the mayor's house. The little burrick was inside the gate, insude the house, up into the hallway where the someone sleeps.
I wish the beta testers had suggested a change to the mayors house entrance situation. The is a great mission pack! Thank You.
