You don't have to go down that well.
You can go from the grounds near the well into a small garden. Then go through the garden gate to a large dark castle-like building with two guard towers, also on the Giles estate. From inside those castle grounds, you can unlock the front gate between the towers and slip out. You may want to snag the guard's arrows while you are there.
I did not recommend fixing that sound because there was another way.:) I did recommend fixing the sound in another well.
I'd be interested to know if you really ghosted the three wind balls or if you had to kill them. That is the only bust I am aware of in the mission pack. I noticed that problem but did not recommend changing it because it was too good as it stood.
Are you saying that it is possible to slip out without being seen? I would be glad of that. :)

If you mean slip out of the Giles castle's front gates, then yes, I am pretty sure it is possible. I did it on an older beta, but I did not try in the latest version. As I recall, both guards on the grounds are on patrol, so it is a question of timing it.
Maybe Dafydd could verify that.

Thank you Lightningline .......for such a quick answer.:)
I had been to that wall ( with the stones ) several times ,
but could never make the jump , so I went on to look for
something else . Guess I'll have to practice my jumping skills
a little harder !!!! I had a lot of trouble getting into the
cathedral too !!!
As for " save before going in the mouth " .......that goes without
saying, for me . :D I quick-save constantly ......if I make a good
move , I save it !!!!!!
Off to wall-jumping............Thanks again.

about jumping over the wall...
I remeber that, while in beta, that spot was a bit hard. when standing right in front of the wall on the stones you had to step a bit to the right to go over. you could try that but I was under the impression that lady r fixed that on the final release.
Lady Rowena on 1/1/2008 at 22:56
Yes I did. It wasn't meant to be difficult. In fact you have to mantle, rather than jump. :)
Can't work out how to defeat the black sister. I know I need the red spiders but can't touch them. I see I need to rope somewhere but where I have been around the lair but don't know what to do!
BrokenArts on 2/1/2008 at 14:48
Sir Lance
You are in the main den, there are two entrances, and one ledge, that ledge has some vines hanging down, shoot a rope arrow into the vines. You'll figure it out from there. ;)
Nameless Voice on 2/1/2008 at 14:49
Sir Lance: Despite the fact that the walls in the Black Sister's room look like stone, take note of the sound your footsteps make on the surface of that room. The same surface is on one of the walls, and, despite looking like stone, it is not, and can be rope arrowed.
Edit: Ah, beaten to it by BrokenArts!

Thanks BrokenArts and Nameless Voice. I would have never found that without help. Finally finished this wonderful FM.:thumb:

This campaign was breathtaking!
The ambient sounds in the black lair sent chills down my spine
Coolest ending ever.
I alerted all the spiders, released them, then ran back into the main chamber with the black sister. I climbed up onto the ledge overlooking and watched them all eat her alive. She never once saw me!
Congratulations to Lady Rowena for the release of this highly anticipated set of FM's! I know I've been looking forward to it for a long time now and I certainly wasn't disappointed!
Now for round 2...
