you can actually ghost that part. going down the stairs choose the left "tunnel"and climb onto the wall and stick to it high up.bigger spoiler
to the left ( on the rock in the smaller pool), you will find a keystone to "open"up the particle door on the other side of the cave, tht's the way to goShe passed that. She has the stone and the diamond. Gillie: go
to the right of the lake up the hill. You will see a water curtain in a cave, not the one above the area where you got the stone, but on the other side past the diamond.
Climb up there use the stonekey and step into the water curtain.

How do you?
Destroy malvina's heart? I tried a holy seed but it didn't work. Game prob?
How on earth did you manage to get a holy seed past the first portal? I thought you had to use them both to destroy the two hearts?
Nameless Voice on 25/1/2008 at 00:56
No, you can destroy both with one seed.

I just now joined the forum so I could post for this thread--
OH MY GOD! What an incredible mini-campaign! This may very well be the most enjoyable mission I've tried to date, and I would have to place it right up there with the very short list of best missions ever created.
I found that I simply could not quit playing.
The amount of secrets one could find, or areas to get into was amazing. But, most importantly of all, the story was very well done--and such a staggering amount of thought and attention to details obviously went into the creation of this mission.
An FM such as this is what keeps the Thief game alive--an FM that is challenging, thoughtful, and exhilarating to play; and enough kudos cannot be bestowed upon Lady Rowena.
Simply amazing.
Anyway, I've gushed enough--but this mission was truly what the doctor ordered for perking up a rather blah week (and as a bonus it gave me an excuse for not working. :ebil: "Hey, I couldn't write...had figure out how to kill the Black Sister!" )
P.S. Did anyone find the ( I guess one would have to call it such) Easter Egg after defeating the Black Sister? Give the Trickster statue a whack with your club

Give the Trickster statue a whack with your clubThe mission is amazing. I will play it again before long. They are all wonderful all the hard work that goes into them.
Seven sisters though was incredible
Have to admit, I missed that one. :thumb:

Finally, just finished this awesome mission.:)
I got stuck at the end as I missed the portal that took me back to Basso's place. You see...I had a couple of fire-eaters after me at the time. It wasn't pleasant!
Not too many knockouts though I wasted all my broad arrows on those green mermaid thingies. The were the only ones I actually killed during this phase. Pretty much avoided all the other creatures and crazies althogether.
I didn't bother to look for all the black diamonds (was content with three - Fire-eaters scared the hell out of me to warrant a detailed search)
I've never been so taxed and so entertained at the same time! in fan missions!:thumb:
For some reason I felt like relaxing about town in the game after all that! Basso and his girlfriend weren't kind enough to offer anything. After all I've been through and done for them eh?:p :cheeky:
Love this mission, though I'm so exhausted now I think I'll go knock myself out with my blackjack and catch 40 winks.
