I LOVED IT!
Thanks, Lady Rowena!
I *almost* gave up near the end when I mistakenly thought the fire elemental at the end was the black sister, then realized I had to creep back through -- again -- the previous area.
But I persisted and the sense of accomplishment was worth it.
I really enjoyed the first two nights, as I love city missions - with lots of blackjack-ing -- and found the continuity of spending two "nights" in the same city compelling.
Overall, an outstanding mission.

Alright, I am finally stuck in the water cavern with all the topless sirens.
I am in the leftmost tunnel that comes down to the cavern and I'm stuck there. Bugbeasts are all over the place, patrolling, the sirens have pretty much got the entire mid- and left-most parts of the cavern covered, and I can see the upwards running waterfall to the right.
Except for one dim spot where there are a pile of water crystals, I can't go anywhere without being spotted. Have tried luring the bugbeasts back up top by the teleporter I came in by, but they have a ton of hitpoints!
What am I doing wrong? Did I miss something vital? I ran down to the stone key sitting on one of the rock/boulders but I get trapped down there in the brightly lit area. I'm stumped and tired.
HELP!!!

HD, the way I do it is to first take care of all the bugbeasts that have the long slope down to the cavern as part of their patrol route. If you do that, there will only be 3 sirens and 2 bugbeast left, I think. They way I do it if they spot me is to run back to the teleporter area, hide in a completely dark spot, jump on the spot and lean forward-BJ the beasts as they approach. Cheesy, but I hate those buggers...
After that, I hide in the left "log tunnel" and time it so I can rush out and to the left, all the way up to a little cave that has a downwards waterfall in it (it´s easier to avoid getting spotted on this run if you gain some height and run as much to the left as possible). You can be in as good as complete darkness in the little cave. From here, I wait until the time is right and make "assaults" down the slope just after an enemy has turned its back to me. I run up to them and BJ them (usually when they walk in the shallow water). Then I carry the body back to the waterfall cave (if there is enough time). Rinse and repeat. The remaining two sirens are now much easier to get the drop on.

Ok, thanks!! At least I know I was on the right track then. I didn't think of blackjacking those guys. They creeped me out so much (and sounded like they were going on alert all the time) so I gave up.
Thank you.

I've finished the Night 3 mission. It was a more logical ending of the big battle, which I solved it only following the usual advice of Blackman, particulary the one regarding "re-reading the inventory".
Initially, I thought that killing the spiders, would defeat the Black Sister, forgeting the crucial information from Thelessus book. After finishing all the assault solutions, I remembered the Blackman advice.
Loved the beautiful and logic ending, the coming back to normal world, and the beggining of telling the story to the friends
I finished with 3700 loot out of 4000 and something. 7 diamonds collected and 4 out of 5 secrets. In my usual manner, of exploring carefully the surroundings, but not obsesivelly.
So, my secrets are:
1. The secret from the mill, which is not really a secret, because the thief note is clear.
2. The hidden place of the two lover thiefs. I mean the little cave, above some water, outside the thiefs house. The "exit outside".
3. The nugget from the cliff, the only cliff mountable in that area.
4. The room/space under the entrance in the temple, in front of which there was a Spirit Sister.
What was the fifth secret?
PotatoGuy on 14/2/2010 at 19:02
I think the fifth secret was a bag of spice hidden near the ceiling of the hallway in the thieves' hideout, first floor.

I presume not the bag on a shelf near some TNT barrels? Because I got that too.
I'll come back from a saving in the hallway to check it out. Thanks!
Later edit: It was there!

Please don't think I'm being lazy but I don't have the patience to read through this entire thread but I'm stuck on the last objective...
how do I get back to Basso's house please? I'm by the waterfall but I can't see any obvious places to rope up.
Any help greatly appreciated!:thumb:

well, if you have finished ALL the objectives, you must get through an exit from the space were Black Sister dies, the one that goes to a portal, with a scroll near it sayin "nobody taking this way came back". Enter the portal and you will get back to the city!

Thank you! I don't know how I missed that!
