OK, I've been playing this game for about a grillion hours now and I love it. But I have found myself with a few difficulties I'm having trouble getting past (from least to most depressing):
1. I keep trying to give the Dwemer scarab schematics to Edwinna at the Ald-rhun Mages' Guild, but I can't even look at them myself, let alone give them to her. When I click "Give her the schematics", she just says, "Where are they? Did you drop them?" Any way to overcome this bug?
2. The guards in Indoril armor all hate me (well, 95% of them). I can't go to Vivec at all anymore without running for my life from door to door. I know they didn't like it when I was seen wearing their sacred armor, so I took it off...but they still are trying to kill me every second. I don't have a bounty on my head, so I can't clear it. Was it something I said?
3. Most distressingly, I need to continue with the main quest of the story by providing the ashkhan in Urshilaku Camp with three items from Kogoruhn. Problem is, I raided Kogoruhn a long time ago and sold two of the items. The shield I'm still carrying, and I got some more corprus weepings somewhere else. But the Sixth House cup...um, I kinda sold it AND I CAN'T REMEMBER WHO I SOLD IT TO!!!!! Please, is there ANY way to use the level editor to look up where it is or something like that? This is making me totally nutso. :confused:
Any help would be a real boon to my sanity...thanks.

For the third "bug" (if you are desparate) use console to add items. Try to search in the UESP net for item IDs or in CS.
I never had the other 2 problems you mentioned.

Thanks Griff, I can live with the other 2 if I can solve the third one...and I don't want to have to add it myself, but it's nice to know if I must, I can...to prevent insanity :sly:

You can fix broken quests by adding journal entries via the console. Someone else will have to tell you how, though.
The Indoril thing is almost guaranteed to be because you have at some point equipped Indoril armour. It's sacred and all the ordinators attack you on sight if you have ever worn it. (
http://www.uesp.net/morrow/hints/morhints.shtml#ordinatorfight) Here is a fix for it.
And from the same site-
Give Yourself the Dagoth Cup:
player->additem "misc_goblet_dagoth", 1
Give Yourself the Shadow Shield:
player->additem "shadow_shield", 1
Give Yourself a Corprus Weepings:
player->additem "ingred_corprus_weepings_01", 1
Thank you so much Ania!
I actually did manage to find that dumb thing I sold
(and then the guy just tells me, "Oh, you can keep that"...grrrr :mad: )
Going to check out that fix...it's very distracting dodging fireballs while you're trying to talk to someone :P

This thread has ALOT of spoiler boxes when it doesn't really need them.
There are Dwemer scrab schematics and dwemer scrab plans, you'll have the wrong one, you need the plans, which you can get from Mzuleft like suggested.
Seems the other 2 have been solved before I got here

You're right about the spoiler boxes. It is the hints and spoilers forum. Duh.
I'll be good now. ;)
I like the spoiler boxes! Just because they're different doesn't mean you should hate them :(
Also, if the ordinators are always trying to kill you then it's a real plus. Their armor is worth their weight in gold, and their usual weapon is an ebony mace (sells for 16,000 gold if I'm not mistaken. I haven't played for a while, so I probably am!)

Didn't mean to ruffle any feathers with the spoiler boxes...other newsgroups and boards I've been a member of, if you didn't include them and someone thought you should have, the repercussions were rather severe ;)
Anyway, now I REALLY have a problem (no spoiler box): I went to Vemynal earlier in the game, just looking around, and I found Sunder, but of course it killed me when I tried to take it with me, so I just left it there--what else could I do? But now that I need it, it's not there anywhere!! AARRRRGGGH, I can't stand this happening!! Is there something I'm overlooking here? I used a Detect Enchantments ring all over that building, and it ain't there. Am I going to have to add that in with the console too? :(

You have been victim of the worse bug in morrowind, when a corpse dissappears it takes every item on it with it. Even unique ones.
Use the console: player->additem sunder 1
