Apparently just announced. Looks like it has input from the shadowrun pen and paper guys. The snippet from the announcement doesnt suck, unlike the last attempt at a Shadowrun game...

Did anyone even buy the last Shadowrun game? Had nothing to do with the name at all practically besides the races that were present.

I didn't buy it but rented it long term from a Netflix-type place and actually rather liked it as an online FPS. I had never heard of Shadowrun before though.

I bought the FPS and don't regret it at all. It doesn't have much at all to do with the tabletop game, but it's a fun shooter. The biggest problem with the game is just that it's a little light on content.

Ah, good old Spoony. And yeah, the SNES game is currently in my SNES/Genesis/NES clone getting some serious attention. Thanks again, Zerk.

Shadowrun for SNES is an entirely different game to the Mega Drive title.

What the anime robot guy said. The Genesis Shadowrun is more true to it's pen and paper RPG roots, whereas the SNES version is more an adventure game set in the SR universe.
I prefer the SNES version myself, though only slightly moreso. Both are of them are pretty damn awesome when it comes right down to it.

Agreed on the awesomeness of the snes version. Wish someone would go translate the Sega Mega CD version (no relation to the snes or mega drive versions). Would love to see what its like.
I sat through a "Lets Play" of the snes version on youtube yesterday. Just as good as I remember it. Must go back and play that again at some point. Wish there`d been a sequel.
The genesis one I have played, but I just can't get into it compared to the snes one. Just not as exciting, alot harder, and the music is not even close to as good. I still need to go play through it properly at some point however.
