I killed the first haunt with the flare :cheeky:
All that darkness is seriously disturbing though. Excellent.

I thought this was a good little mission, slyfoxx as ever sounds great.
I liked the way you cant see jack shit without the flare, well done that man. Even the dithering issue on my 8800 didnt stop meplaying :-)

That was a great FM !!! With the short range vision afforded by the flare, it was like Silent Hill on the PS1 with its' fogging.
I hope you make another bigger FM using the same style, with lots of hideous AI lurking in the dark.

I just finished this one and I enjoyed it a great deal! Despite the fact that it really had very few AI in it, it managed to max out the creep factor. As someone else mentioned, I kept expecting something to pop out at me from the dark. The voice acting was excellent and it was a treat to play! Thank you very much!

This one was pretty darn creepy
I kept expecting that statue to come lurching around the corner any minute , up until the very end.
. The only disappointment was the ending
it was a little too easy to take out the big bad guy. He obviously wasn't paying attention, or something...
The part with the flare was really good, although I had a minor panic attack at first before I figured out how to put it away and hide the light... wanted nice, safe, shadows to hide in... nice shadows, without bad things hiding in them...

Here's my question- would it REALLY be that big a deal to just make this the fifth entrant into the contest? It missed the deadline by a hair and really, there's no conceivable advantage this mission would have against the others.
What day were the authors allowed to start working on their missions, because this author worked on this one for 8 months. I don't remember MOH starting that long ago, and it would be an advantage over the others.

Oh..Wow, I never thought about that. :erm: The MoH entrants only had 4 months.
Thanks for the reminder, john.
