I guess that varies from person to person. Someone who thought RE4s aiming was difficult (with a gamepad) is going to have an even harder time with SOTD's.
Anyway, I've made it to act 5! Really enjoying the game so far, and the 2D sidescroller levels are fun interludes!

Using the terrible PC port as a point of reference is pretty boneheaded, since it gives an utterly inaccurate (pun not intended) representation of how the game really is. I'm sorry.

Yup. The RE4 PC port was one of the great travesties inflicted upon us in the name of cross-platform relations. It's up there with the MGS2 PC port.
