Looks like there is now a free demo of the first three chapters on steam.

I should note that chapter three has a significant difficulty spike that is not indicative of the rest of the game.

Also, as with RE games, higher difficulties are not available from the start. "Survival" the hardest diff. which is available for the 1st time is actually normal, it's described as such in the description.
