I'm not sure how people who recommend hitting the gym, learning to dance, practicing public speaking, and learning how to dress can be remotely compared to "Just go up to her, recite the memorized lines, and her panties will drop for you!"
That's the appeal of PUA. It promises that you can get women easily, without having to do inconvenient, even painful things like working out hard or going to dance lessons.
Either way, given the guy's sociopathic tendencies it's easy to see why he's attracted to PUA. It's a "solution" that sells the idea that you can meet the opposite sex without having to open up and engage with them like a normal human being. Instead you just robotically follow a script, because....hey, they're just objects on a 1-10 scale and too dumb to just have a conversation with, right?

White People Problems.
And white people results. Do you notice how it's almost always white people who carry out these mass shootings?

White People Problems.
Sometimes I find myself going to oncology wards in white neighborhoods to explain to all the people there that while the chemotherapy is painful, and the prognosis grim, their suffering is nothing compared to what minorities suffers daily in our patriarchal, racist society.
Then I walk away and pat myself on the back. Because nothing shows how much of a freethinking friend of the dusky haplotypes you are than broadcasting your disdain every chance you get, and bringing race into conversations where race isn't even an issue.
Ahh, white guilt. Responsible to everything from the Tea Party to Tumblr.

English is not my first language.
And the latest cynical internet-lingo might not be my forte.
Heck, I'm not sure if I use the word "forte" correctly. Or lingo. When I write English, it's always a gamble if I make a fool of myself or not.
I had understood that the expression "White People Problems" has nothing to do with race. It is about ridiculing (some of) the middle and upper class. I had no intention in bringing race in. That's an American thing, I think.
The guy makes his goodbye-video from the BMW his daddy gave him.
When I was his age, I could hardly afford a bicycle. A second-hand one. Definitely not a new one.
He raged because girls didn't fall for his slick talking. Nor for his BMW.
Why should I have sympathy for this guy ?
Of course I feel bad for the victims. It's a sad story. The part about innocent bystanders getting killed. Him shooting himself in the head, nope, I don't mind so much.

Bro, this is a serious misstep on your part.
shhhhh
shhhhhhhh
it'll be okay

THREAD DERAIL!
How was it a misstep? Even though Gryz stated it was bad phrasing on his part (he's probably thinking more of First World Problems), if we assume his statement was sincere rather than a mistake, then it doesn't serve any purpose in strengthening or expanding the subject of the conversation.
The topic has absolutely nothing to do with racial issues whatsoever. Shoehorning them in only muddies the waters with unnecessary talking points, and ultimately serves as nothing more than a way to draw attention to himself, rather than any issues being discussed.
Pyrian on 26/5/2014 at 05:23
Yeah, "first world problems" would be a non-racial version. You can't really make a non-racial statement starting with "white people" since that's clearly a racial delineation.
EDIT: OT, the guy was apparently a psychopath, and not the figurative version.

I'm still not convinced that it was bad phrasing.
First hit in google: (
http://whitepeopleproblems.us/)
I see a lot of white people in those pictures. But I don't see any racism.
Does everything has to be about race when the words white or black are mentioned ?
Because if "White People Problems" is racist, then imho "First World Problems" is racist too. As if nobody in the Third World has a BMW. Heck, and why does nobody ever mention the Second World ?
Anyway, I do think that the case of this shooter is connected to this expression. There was nothing wrong with that guy's life. He had nothing to complain about. There are zillions of people who are generally worse off than he was. And even about the specific thing he complains about (lack of attention of girls), there are also zillions of guys with exactly the same problem. It might not be fun, but it is certainly no reason to shoot yourself. And definitely never a reason to shoot others. Talk about overreacting.
