Another promising interview. Although I don't really like the sound of that two button combat thing. I guess I'll just have to keep an open mind.

I emailed that author to give him a piece of my mind. :) I showed him how to turn off the two button click deal, in favor of an SS2 style toggle. He thanked me, and promised to fix the preview. ;)
Then I went to Akrane and told them how important it was for them to make the toggle mode the default mode. I finally won Raf over. ;)

Is the two button combat better, once you get used to it? I don't mind relearning a control scheme if it has added benefits, or fits the style of the game better (just so long as it's a well documented control scheme).

Personnally, I prefer the non toggle mode, it's much more 'immediate' than the other, it allows you to do quick actions such as moving objects around on a table in a matter of a few seconds. But then, I guess the toggle mode is easier to start with, and it's probably more relaxing for your rightbutton finger :)
