Anything that would normally get you killed... the first time, instead of dying, you go to jail.

I kinda find side quests somewhat non-rewarding.
Quote:
1. After the Shalebridge Cradle, but before Weildstrum, hope on over to your (dead) fence's shop. There will be a note beside the front door that'll provide you with a side-mission for some extra cash.
Very minor spoiler:
Yeah, I gotta burn a water arrow to clean up that blood stain and then get payed 225g. Minus 100 for the arrow and it's 125g. I'm better off pickpocketing.
They're still somewhat good if you want to get more and more out of TDS.

hrrmmm...
I thought I had found all there was to find in T3 - glad to discover I was wrong.
2 questions:
~Where is this trap door in auldale that leads to the prison?
~What are these "torture chambers/floor cells" in the prison?

Can't answer the first one - I honestly don't know what blackman means by 'trap in Auldale'.
As for the floor cells - there's two large cells in the floor which can be opened and closed by switches. They're located at the area in Pavelock where you have to open up the large gte to go up the stairs to the water/plumbing area.

The door in Auldale is in the Pagan territory on the ground toward the side Drept's place is on, under an arched tunnel. It leads to the sewers. At a point in the game, the water is drained and you can jump directly in he hole without consequences.

City side-quests
================
1. Landlord's blackmail
2. Pavelock Prison
3. Lady Elizabeth & her thugs
4. Orincross Dagger and Cothron's Armoury
5. Gemcutter Crowley & thugs
6. Map of St. Edgar Cathedral (technically it's still a side-quest)
7. Map of Curshoks Citadel
8. Map of Keepers Compound
9. Pagans tree.
10. Burial of Alfred Hurley / Cornerstone in the Graveyard.
11. Map of Shalebridge Cradle
12. Hauknor - racketeer (bottles of fine wine)
13. Cleaning of a murder scene.
14. Samuel Fogerty the goldsmith & Jimmy the Knife
15. Map of Museum Wieldstrom
16. Requests of Hammers
17. Requests of Pagans
I believe that's all, not that much as they promised..
I didn't include your usual robbing of the few houses in each district, as that isn't displayed in the *Notes* and
technically isn't a side-quest.
It leads to the sewers which lead to Gamal's lair. At a point, you drain the sewers. Before that point, if you jump in, you die.
That's still not really a trap though is it? I mean, that'd be like me running into a fireplace while there was fire in it, dying, and yelling "OMG TRAP!1".
Cardel on 15/4/2006 at 16:16
Yeah, but the fact that before you drain the water it looks like a good place to hide and/or loot spot. It doesnt really look as if theres deep water in there, especially if you dont have time to look because your being chased. Incidently, has anyone ever managed to get an NPC to fall in to that place?
