Hey all
Since this is kinda getting old in my HDD, here is the Siege engine WIP: No source, but the DLL's look quite nice on IDA 6.4 + HexRays 1.5 :)

to create a new project, for instance, you need to type in the command box "project_new"
Also a simple request: When is a snapshot of the newdark source becoming available to thew general public?

Care to elaborate about any of this for the layman?

I'll try, briefly.
This was the updated Dark Engine that lgs was working on / creating when they folded, the update to the Dark Engine.
It's presented here, working, and mostly for true hard fans :)

How can one use it? And where did you get it?
Chaos on 12/12/2013 at 03:14
Using it its more or less a weird crap - that was the alpha version (the only one lgs ever made of Siege). It's more a trial and crash thing. I only released it because there is no problem in releasing it now, and also it's just a bit more of memorabilia...
How I got it? I'm not completely sure, since i have it for 11-12 years now, and I can't remember 100% sure if it was one of the lgs workers I keep in contact with, or if a good friend I had on this board who got it to me first. Either wait I just released it before it's completely lost, and it's part of LG's legacy... so... enjoy

I love it when people release old relics like this, bits and pieces of history. Thank you! :cheeky:

Has anyone done any work with it (Besides Deep Cover) who can show and tell more about it?

Can this engine actually run any levels?
voodoo47 on 13/12/2013 at 13:20
no source code, I assume? now that would be interesting.

No source code, unfortunately.
I can send you a IDA decompile though, the code is quite clean :)
