Is Silent Hill 2 the conflicted dream of a dying man?? Jacobs Ladder isn't about "glitching".
The Silent Hill film was decent and I haven't played any of the games.
And much as I like the Mortal Kombat games the films, including the first one, are terrible. The 1st one was on tv not stop long ago. It's a lot worse than you remember.

SubJeff get up off your ass and play the Silent Hill games. It's a fantastic trilogy. While SH1 and 3 are scary as fuck, SH2 qualifies as an "art game" right alongside the Team Ico games.

Well, Konami supposedly fixed the PS3 re-releases of 2 and 3, and 1 can be bought off PSN easy -- but I'd go with original PS2 copies of 2 and 3 if you can get 'em. 1 is fine anywhere.

I liked The first SH movie. The games weren't bad until Silent Hill 4 came out.

reality was induced by the psycho drug (AFAIU), and there was some serious mental glitching going on in it as the movie went on, enough to know something's not right with "reality"... (I mean all dreams are a little glitchy, at least when they get represented in film.) The movie was about something's not right with reality and he wants to figure out what it is.
