BOYCOTTING THE FUCK OUT OF THIS
They completely cocked this game up. When I said I wanted a remake of SH1, I meant I wanted the same game only prettier and maybe some irritating things fixed. I didn't ask for some bullshit consoletard reimagining where to win you just press A over and over again
PRESS START AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA CONGRATULATIONS YOU WIN
Silent Hill is dead to me.
This.

How can you say this, you didn't even play it

You know, SH1 wasn't hard either.

I didn't like it, they made it into a horror-themed God of War, only the inherent flaws of the series remind you that it is a Silent Hill game. This one is also comming to the ps2 by the way, I don't know how fast a computer you need for emulation but I heard ps2 emulation works pretty good if you have a fast pc.

Shattered Memories Wii is emulated pretty good, judging by forums. It's strange that Wii games are generally emulated better than PS2 ones, at least speed-wise.

Actually, considering Wii is essentially overclocked Gamecube it's not weird at all.

I believe the term you're looking for, Elitist-kun, is "challenging" and SH1 was that in spades. Not difficult, but you actually had to fucking pay attention to what you were doing. And that involved using more than one button.

What of a PC version? Not going to spend $250 just to play this.
It's designed specifically around the Wii controller, a PC port makes no sense. You could always wait for the PS2 or PSP ports, but they'll likely be both gimped graphically and have awkward adapted controls.

Controls perhaps, but graphics, it's just me or PS2 graphics are on a par with Wii graphics usually, and sometimes even better? (I mean compare GoW or MGS3 with average Wii graphics). Judging by youtube videos I certainly didn't notice something beyond PS2 capabilities, texture resolution including.
