Bad news, but I'm kinda used to being disappointed by Konami. The series went to shit after SH4, but there was some hope with this one.

Well, that's that. It could've been good. Now it's up to the constituent parts of Team Silent that ended up at SCE Japan Studio to do something good for this generation.

In case someone missed it, Konami's been basically trying to unperson Kojima for the last month, going so far as to retroactively remove his name from any promotional materials for already released games. They've only gone back on that after *massive* backlash in social media.

Yeah, that stuff makes you wonder what the hell's going on inside Konami HQ :p .
Oh well, at least they've released Suikoden 1 and 2 on PSN. Took them quite a while, though.

The celebrity tie ins were a huge red flag that this game was never going to be sold on its own merits.
