I'm embarrassed for having to ask something so silly, but...
I just installed Thievery UT since I saw it mentioned somewhere and I realized that I'd never really tried it before.
When I start a solo game (or join a multiplayer game), I am given the option of either joining the Thieves of the Guards. I make my selection and then I get an objective-like, semi-transparent screen as the map begins (I can hear movement, although I'm typically just staring at a wall beneath the overlay). By holding "V", I am able to select my loadout.
... Then what? I can select my loadout to my heart's content, but how do I get the overlay to go away so I can get in control and actually begin to PLAY the game?

I honestly can't remember since I only ever tried Thievery once. But from what you could infer, for alot of us on the forums Thievery is like a black sheep. It had some promise, from what I can tell, but ultimately it just didn't appeal to alot of Thief fans, and the people who do play it tend to have that Unreal multiplayer mentality. :erm:
Also, the singleplayer is a joke. That, I do remember.
EDIT: Do take note though, that I missed the heyday of Thievery. And for all I know, there might've been a period in which it was popular. And some circles that play it might not be as I'm assuming them to be... But knowing the oldschool Unreal players, that's a real stretch.

Yeah, I can imagine, but I'd still like to try it.
Does no one know how it works to enter a game or is it just some kind bug on my end?
I'd ask on the ThieveryUT forums, but they're overly protective and I'm waiting for administrative confirmation so I can post (or even search) on the Blackcat forums.

Who's "BA"? There is no registered TTLG member called "BA."
If that's short for something, please tell me what, because there are enough members here that guessing would be problematic. :p

Got the question answered over at the BlackCat forums.
For anyone who's wondering, you just need to right-click to begin. D'oh.
