Re: the yellow-green downstairs hallway:
Checked it out in Dromed, there is most certainly a secret door there. No idea where the switch is, though. I thought so - when I raised the gamma level as high as possible there are some outlines of the texture visible.
Therefore it had to be some sort of panel or door. But I'm completely clueless where to search for the switch, too.
Given the "quality" of Telliamed's hiding capabilities we're in for a similar surprise I guess :laff:
the piano is the switch, play it in the way: 3422
How did you get this?
I wondered about the music on the piano, too, but couldn't read anything in the books or on the music note sheet.:erg:
Additionally: This does not register as a secret (probably as it is part of the story line)! So there is another secret waiting
besides the library and the attic! :cheeky:

Did you sip the wine?
:sly:
and
earlier in the game play, i tripped a secret before unlocking the doors to the patio in the main bedroom...however, i do not know what it was, and cannot do it again...it was near the double doors going out to the patio
also...don't know what this means, but you can
hear the sounds of the party at the north end of the estate...outside
Grubmle. I went through nearly the entire mission before discovering that you can turn off the lights by frobbing them! Sometimes the maid comes by and turns them on again, but you can just frob them off later.
Possibility for the third secret: in the downstairs dining room, where you find several expensive plates and gold cups, there is an unfrobbable cabinet that appears to contain expensive platters. Might there be a secret switch somewhere that opens this cabinet?
I hunted everywhere around the double doors to the "main bedroom" -- you mean the one with the stairs down to the library, right? -- but I didn't find any secrets. Or any switches. Or any secret switches.
Other than finding that third secret, I'm done: I have the loot, the wine (which I sipped, with very bizarre consequences), and I know how to get out... same way I came in, I reckon. But I want to find that third switch and at least the loot that it hides, assuming it's a loot-secret.
Any other thoughts on the third secret?

i think that the hidden loot is at the party!

I got a secret checked off when I read Benny's poem. Unless I accidentally double-frobbed, and there's a switch round there.
I also haven't got a clue how I opened up that library secret. I knew it was a secret bookcase, and I scanned for the obligatory 'frobbable book'. Imagine my surprise when, instead of giving it a little tug or a shift to the right, Garrett actually *read* it :cheeky: . But I came back later, and found it wide open! Something I did must have opened it...

The library secret: The left candle on the fireplace is placed on a pressure plate. I removed it. The secret bookcase now open/closes every time, when i pass a certain bookcase nearby
Maybe another secret: I opened the mission in dromed and found some loot under the hay-stack in the barn. But i found no way, to "open" it.
Very well done small mission. I wouldn´t be surprised, if there are some more secret places ;)
btw: had no crashing problems (win xp, athlon 800, geforce 2 gts)

Thanks for the new FM but I can only play this part way into the game also before I get the crash to desktop.
It happened at the side entrance to the house and in the basement but a reload got me going again. But now I am upstairs and did a save just before another crash. Now after a reload even if I just sit and don't move I get the crash after 10 seconds or so.
Not having this problem with the FMs I have so I don't think it is a video card issue.
System: WIN98SE, AMD Z, 512 Ram, GF4 Video.
So I was afraid of.
How did you figure it out? I tried to look for clues in the music, but was totally unable to break the code.
