Hi you all! I usually want to give Thief FMs the best shot they deserve: I play at night, in complete darkness and solitude, turn gamma very low, put good headphones on, and preferably reserve enough time to play it on one shot. I even try to link my mind with Garrett's, try to really be him and LIVE the mission instead of playing and completing it. So I'm going for the ultimate experience. That usually needs the right mood and good amount of focus to do, and if I somehow feel incapable, I don't even start, because I don't want to spoil any FMs.
Due to some RL issues, right now is a phase in my life, where I don't have a lot of private time and concentration to play any major FMs. So I'm looking for some quick and easy, low-tension FMs to play. They don't necessarily have to be easy, but my concentration level isn't high enough for any hard FMs. So basically: 'get in, get the loot, get out' type of missions. A story doesn't hurt, but an intense or a long and twisting one does. Campaigns or long missions are okay if they can be played in short sessions without breaking the overall atmosphere. Obviously, horror missions are also out, but undead missions aren't, as Garr... *ehm* I don't find them scary, if in small doses, anymore after what I saw in the Old Quarter. Keyhunts or other tedious tasks are a turn-off.
Some missions I've played and liked or not:
Transitions in Chaos: Conspiracies in the Dark (Opened up okay, but after a while the mission felt too complicated for me to focus. Aborted.)
Thieves' Highway (same goes for this one)
Unbidden Guest (simply awesome mission)
Greyfeather Gems (I just loved both parts, but any mission like Part 2 would be too intense to play now)
Lord Ashton Series (not Night Falcon) (I know people have said these to be the kind of missions I'm looking for. I started the first mission, but aborted it because it was just too badly built and amateurish.
Lord Alan's Basement (I actually liked this one a lot, the next parts seem to be too complicated)
All Torc (good and solid campaign)
Darkness Falls 1&2 (okay missions, would have liked to see more)
L'Arsene and Emilie Victor (good missions, but require a lot of concentration so I don't dare to continue the series)
Rowena's Curse (a masterpiece!)
Pirates Ahoy! (good campaign, and I actually found it to be scary, because of solitude and the unfamiliar monsters and surroundings just made me unaware of what will be next. The fear of unknown is the worst!)
Ack! There's a zombie in the basement and Sinful Opportunities (now that's the spirit!)
The Hightowne Musem (the same goes for this one)
All for a Night's Sleep (as for this one, except that I though this to be a bit boring)
Saturio Returns Home (good one)

You could try some of the 48 hours contest missions, Third Time's the Charm and Sinful Opportunities. Probably The Tower too.

- The three first A Love Story missions. Oh, and the last one, too (number V).
(On A love Story II, make sure you hit 'Continue' after the first mission since that first part is mostly a prologue.)
- Most of Christine's mission are not complicated or hard. Lord Ashton series varies in quality and it's older than Night Falcon series so may think some parts are 'amateurish'. I highly recommend the Lady Lotti saga, though (Coterie of Smokers, Abysses & Bloody Ruins).
- Ominous Bequest (slightly more complicated than Rowena's Curse but similar in concept and gameplay).
- The Tower is a great little mission from Lady Rowena.

Deceptive Perception. Simple and sweet. Play just before bed.

I'd recommend Mine Affairs and Precious by AntiMatter_16, they're both small missions that are pretty well done.

Hi DiMarzio,
My suggestions for FMs that may fit the bill. I don't recall any being mega complicated, just really good fun and interesting to play:
Aurumpundo.
Any of bbb's FMs perhaps, like Mighty Joe Young, Three Crowns, or Nigel's Hidden Treasures.
Off to Lady Milhorn.
Viktor Gaspar.
Way of the Sword.
Into the Maelstrom .
The Tower.
Gerrard's Temple.
The "Lady Lotti" series (already mentioned).
:)
