if you try to take a screenshot when you're reading a book or a note you don't get the pic of the note. instead you get a normal screen of you sitting next to the book/note.
is there a way to take screenshots of the books you're reading?
(I used my digital camera to take shots of books so far)

it doesn't work. it exits the books screen and then takes the screenshot.

Hmmm... PrintScreen doesn't work either?

no, printscreen doesn't work at all

why would you want to, though? it's quite easy to get the text out of the system files.

because I can't get the images out of books (probably still in the files but I have to look more) (e.g. the book of ash from the necro spire)

so you're saying you want the images used for the books, and the text is unimportant?

The book images are stored in res\books.crf. Rename it to .zip, open it up in your favorite archive program and browse through the book directories. The book of ash, for instance, is abook\book.pcx.
I've been able to take book and interface screenshots using Gadwin PrintScreen, but digging out the files is a far more trivial way to go for what you want to do.
