Simply the Greatest Request for Thief 4 would be:
Include with Thief 4, either the a patched version of the Thief 2 engine capable of playing fan levels.
- or -
Include Thief 2 source code, so the community can continue playing Thief 2 levels on modern hardware. Double the reason to buy Thief 4.
[There are few known bugs in Thief 2. If people can patch the engine for widescreen and such--without even seeing the source code--then think of how little effort it would take for for an official developer to do it.]
...oh, and make a good game, too.

they're looking for the source for us, at least... i think that's all we can ask for now :)

The fact that they are, AND some ex-LGS are doing what they can, is an amazing gesture of support!
Though all they can do is ask some contacts, who will probably have to ask some contacts, who will probably ask contacts already asked....:tsktsk::laff:
