@ Angel Dust: we checked those two flicks out on Netflix tonight and they were meh. Kinda 'b' movie style and the acting was atrocious. Nothing really happened in the Innkeeper for at least 45 mins., and it wasn't much longer than that.
Thanks for the recommendations though, I am always game to check new stuff out.
We are watching P.A. 3 as I type this, we just assumed we had seen it all this time and actually hadn't yet. Gives the backstory to the 2nd movie and is decent so far, though it is the weakest of the 3 imho.

They're certainly 'B films' in terms of production quality (they only had 17 days in which to shoot The Innkeepers, which is fucking crazy) and sometimes acting (I think it's somewhat intentional with 'The House Of The Devil' but I thought The Innkeepers was solidly acted for a film of it's type) but I think the level of film craft is much higher. I'd love to see what Mr West could do with a bit more in the way of budget and time.
Funny how you mention not liking the fact that nothing much happens for a lot of The Innkeepers running time because that's also what I liked about the first PA film. :p
