I think we've just about reached that stage in Internet where time doesn't flow anymore. Everything from 2006 on is basically the eternal present. Only a nuclear or meteor strike can make time start again.
And even then people will hate it for being so damn derivative.

Yeah! Is it a metaphor or something? If you could actually do that I think that would change civilization in some fundamental way. Not just the whole breeding part. But imagine, like, the Tasty Smegma Skittles or something. That actually works and wasn't something people comedically bother Mythbusters with.
