Does anybody have one? I hope there is no need to explain how the sleeping bat looks.

Depending on how distant they will be from the player and how you plan to use them, wouldn't it be more effective to make them out of sprites rather than 3d objects? That way you could put hundreds of them without hurting the polygon count.

It would be good in high caves, but everything I have is attic... and my sleeping bats are not just a decoration, they have a purpose.

How many polygons? Should it have textures? What format? No wonder there are no offers...

What format?
A bat file, of course.

1. Some.
2. I guess yes.
3. Bin.
I thought it was too obvious...

Supposedly not. Also, off the link Zontik provided:

The hell? Cave cows?
According to Google's translation of the page, it's the entrance of a Moldovan quarry and they wandered in there to get away from the heat. :weird: Perhaps this is how burricks got their start...
On the original topic, I found this (
http://www.123dapp.com/123C-3D-Model/Letter-Opener--Hanging-Bat/801996) model of a letter opener with a hanging bat on the end. I'm not sure of the file format (you have to create an account there to download), but it ought to be possible to delete the letter opener part and add some appropriate textures.

Thanks, letter opener is even better than cave cow models. I just wonder why there is still no sleeping bats in Thief universe, with so many caves.

Maybe it it because most Thief missions take place between dusk and dawn, when bats are not sleeping, but out foraging? Bats sleep during the daylight hours. Garrett does too.
