Im going to give this a try. I'll get back to the thread hopefully later tonight. I should note that all I have is the original copy of Thief: The Dark Project, first released version from 98, and that is the version of the game I shall try.

Excellent, for that is the version I have. Now that dinner is over, if I can just get the kid to stop whining and pitching a fit, get the wife happy again, and basically restore general order to the evening, I can start having some fun. A new reason to justifiably pull out Dark Project and start running and jumping again!!!
EDIT - Ah... Dark Project. :ebil: Full install - 271 megabytes. All that freakin' game jammed into 271 megabytes.

That's still without the videos.

In the Assassins video? At what time; how can I see that comment?

To quote "You can sword swing. After 0,5 second pull out also Blackjack.
Hm. Maybe it depends on the exact timing? I wondar what "

Use this function=hide Blackjack"
I wonder what that means. Thief does't have a "function" concept, as far as I know.

From what he said I would say you have to swing your sword and mid swing you switch to the blackjack then hide it. The default control for hiding your weapons is the tilde button. I can't verify how to exactly do it since I don't play with the stock versions of any of the Thief series.

Hm, in the MoC video it does not look like he's unwielding the blackjack in between. Needs more testing.

-awesome specs- 1.4 ghz / 504 mb / onboard video/sound.
lol oh my... Im finally realizing how *badly* I need a new computer. Yes, my computer is choking on even Dark Project. I could play on one of two laptops, but... I just cant do that. All I wanted to do was get to the damn pool in Baffords and practice jumping off and slowing down. Never made it past the drunk guard, who I somehow for the first time ever managed to turn hostile on me! :p

He becomes hostile if he notices that you try to pick his key.
