Seriously, after some many FMs, it feels weird to listen to Russell's voices when playing older FMs or OG missions.
SlyFoxx's Garrett also tends to sound more serious and composed than OG Garrett, which fits better if one imagines that this is Garrett after the OG games.
Who else finds it odd to listen to Stephen Russell after many hours and hours of Slyfoxx?
I guess this is just a post of appreciation for our Resident voice actor ;)

Nope.
I definitely love the work SlyFoxx does, it's great to have new dialogue for the exceptional missions being created by the community.
To my ear, however, there is this quaver in his voice that stands out even after all the missions I've played. I don't hate it, but Russell is always going to be Garrett.

SlyFoxx is brilliant, but SR will always be the ultimate Garrett

Stephen Russell is Garrett on Normal, but Slyfoxx is Garrett on Expert. :thumb:
At this point, we all have to thank Slyfoxx for his contribution, he made himself a name like Russell.

Nowhere near in my opinion.

Stephen Russell's Garret voice is very canonic, nobody can replicate or replace it, but like everyone else here I'm happy with SlyFoxx's work in FMs.

Can't say I've ever paid that much attention to the voices. Not really a major part of gameplay so I can't understand why the debate takes up so much time.

Well, as we speak about voices, I'm usually not a fan of translations as they tend to be cheap, but I think French voices are way better than English ones, especially for Garrett, but also for guards, hammers, mechs and all...

Then why bother playing games at all, if you don't pay attention to the voice work.
