this was a great mission but the part that stumped me the first time through was having to go back home for weapons

i must have searched the town for 2 hours looking,glad we have the forums

Thanks for making this, I'm really enjoying watching it. It's crazy to me how easily you can change your voice though, that's some skill there.

This is ace. I've thought about doing a developer commentary for some of my missions, but I just hate the sound of my own voice too much. :p

Also you should totally do a Let's Play in character as Garrett and say ridiculous things all the way through. I would pay good money to see that!

I second that! What a great idea since Garrett talks to himself here and there in the OMs. It would be an entertaining experience, I'm sure!

As for a LP as Garrett. I guess I could do that but I'll have to do a mission I haven't played yet. That would be much more entertaining to me and I imagine to the viewer. There were some recent contest missions that are bound to be small that might fit the bill.

Haha, it's entertaining to watch you run through the missions that you created a long time ago(as I'm sure any level designer would, when looking back at how far they've come.) That little joke towards Stephen Russell's acting at the beginning made me chuckle(although I consider you to be just as good as Russell was, during his time on the Thief series). Whenever I hear your voice as Garrett in other fan missions, I can be reassured that the mission(s) in question will turn out to be of great quality. So, consider your acting much like a stamp of approval if you will, SlyFoxx:cheeky:

I've tried my best to somewhat sound like Garrett with my own voice(which that outdated recording I did in the voice actors thread doesn't really demonstrate too well unfortunately). I should try to upload a longer, better quality recording one of these days, but it really just depends on my schedule. In the end, I'd probably consider myself more appropriate for a younger Garrett at best. Now, if only I could find a way to hide my natural Kiwi accent better:p

I also agree with nicked and Sycamoyr that you should do a let's play in your Garrett voice throughout, as I'm sure it would be one heck of a good time:thumb:
