Using the shadows, I was able to sneak by the flamethrower guard at the building. So at least sneakin' does indeed work. Whew :D

Indeed it does. LINE-OF-SITE is the key. If the guard can see you they will hunt you down. If they don't they tend to scout around and then resume their normal route. I was able to shoot a guard through a window with the boltcaster. I ducked back down. When the other guards arrived to investigate they didn't know where I was.

Doesn't change the fact that the level is set up in such a way that utilizing sneaking is both difficult, and backwards.

hide yourself behind the cardboard boxes to safely hack the atm. Take out the guards on the hellipad from the comfort of a security computer, better still use the gun turrett to pierce a whole in the gas barrel or generator to take out the guards even more indirectly. Lob a smoke grenade through the office window followed by a couple of spider bots, whatever floats your boat.

Ok, it aint thief but there are allsorts of sneaky underhanded approaches you can adopt. I've certainly warmed to the game. I think its going to be a really great xbox release. But a lot of the pc specific criticisms remain.

You don't need a lean key when you can see THROUGH the walls. :cheeky:

So we all just pick the visibility augmentation (using one of our five slots) and upgrade it too level three, wow, I'm glad emulating the ability to LEAN is so easy and requires so little in game resources.
