what're some of the stunts you pulled that made you smirk, and maybe leave you a little shocked that you pulled it off?
for me, playing cult of the resurrection, you know the guard in the basement who walks between the temple's main hall and the kitchen? i followed him almost his entire walk through the main hall itself, staying close behind him in a brightly lit room as he walked around the pews, and he never noticed me. when he was about to leave, i waited until the door was shut behind him, then i went and grabbed the bottle of good wine off the pulpit and and hurried up to get back behind him so i could hide in a shadow in the hallway before he started coming back from the kitchen.

You can do that with many of the beasties and guards. If you are quiet you can walk right behind them and the won't see you.
Watch a warbot or guard on patrol. See which way they turn to continue. If they turn left every time (or right) then you just crouch and sneak along right at thier heels and (if they turn right) you just ease to the left and forward as they make thier turn.
A fun place to do this is in COURIER where you can follow the last man all the way through town to the graveyard with this technique.
PS, it also works in real life. :)

my best move is what i call a "Gas Crystal Barrage".
basically, i had 3 guards on patrol in the same general area, but far enough apart to where i couldnt get them with a single crystal. i traced and memorized thier paths, and fired 3 gas crystals in quick succession, getting all three in one try. :ebil: can also be done with fire arrows.
i just wish the gas crystals would leave a cloud of gas behind when they hit, and you could fire off a fire crystal and cause a huge explosion, that would be friggin sweet! :cheeky:

There was one Victorian mansion mission with well-lit hallways (I don't remember which one) where this happend to me:
I'm crouch-running down the well-lit hall when I hear someone coming and somehow find a postage-stamp sized area of darkness to hide in. Seconds later the guard turns the corner, but it's not one guard, it's 4. When they get close to me, I do a mad flurry of blackjack strikes, and somehow I KO all 4 of them before any of them can react. :cheeky:

In Life of the Party, you can take out both the thieves at the apartment with a single Gasarrow. You need to hit the window frame just right. The gas cloud will knock both of them out.
Back to the first comment: The warbot in Soulforge that patrols just off of the area with the water tanks that leads to the "chapel" can be suckered by crouching and walking right behind him. He turns left at the Chapel entrance and you just slide right and pass him by.
Coming back from the Turret room through the chapel you can do the same thing to get back into the main area and even unlock the double doors without it noticing. With good technique and timing that is.

The buggy AI placement in First City Bank and Trust really began to grate on me as I progressed through the level. One of the guards on an upper level balcony was somehow placed in the worst possible position, perched on a ledge, in a brightly-lit area, directly facing both my entrance door, and potential exit. There was no way to get directly behind him.
I made several doomed attempts to sneak by him. Nothing worked...I couldn't distract him; he wouldn't move or turn around, because he was stuck on his perch. Eventually, I just charged forward, jumped up and "shock-jacked" him, face-first. I was amazed when he went down, I had no idea such a thing was possible at the time. Cue big smirk!

Killed the "invincible" Gamall in Auldale with an oil flask, on the ramp in front of the Auldale monument for where you have to stick the first Sentient. That was the only time I managed to get her to slip, though.
My screenshot came out dark as hell, despite the gamma setting, and silly me didn't save the game to see whether she would still show up at the other locations after that.
Also, upon first breaking into the keeper library, I managed to make one of the keepers carrying a torch, to slip on an oil spot and smash his head against the wall. Funny thing is, I didn't fail the mission, despite not being allowed to harm any Keepers, so I guess it's more a bug, than my prowess.

Wow, that is great. Gamall may be impervious to all known weaponry, but get her on unsteady footing and she's a goner!:cheeky:
Let's see about mine...
In TDP and TMA, if you find a big hammer or Mechanist mace, run at your intended target, and throw it at them from as close as you can get while still moving forwards, you can inflict great damage on them. Sometimes a one-hit kill. And it doesn't count as a kill, so you can do it on Expert without failing the mission.
So I was running around Angelwatch causing chaos and hammering everyone/thing to death with impunity when I run into that combat mech on the ground floor. I proceed to throw the hammer at it. And it explodes.:wot: :laff:

One of my favorites is when you're robbing Ramirez' place in the TDP. I did this by accident the first time, but have been able to replicate it.
You get ALL the guards in the whole place chasing you - this is the tricky part as some will stop at corners or bunch up and you have to go back for them.
Once you have them all behind you, go to the servants quarters that's wedged between the kitchen and the guards quarters once you've doused the torch (still two electric overheads, but their effect is minimal)
The guards will all immediately stop at the edge of the darkness, then in unisons start to circle looking for you. If you skirt the edges you can get behind ALL of them knocking out multiples per hit... Two or three blackjack swings and you take out ten to twelve guards? Fun stuff.
