In Life of the Party, you can take out both the thieves at the apartment with a single Gasarrow. You need to hit the window frame just right. The gas cloud will knock both of them out.
I prefer hiding in the shadows in the hallway, and opening the door to the room that the thieves are liaising in. That way the patrolling guard can spot them and do the dirty work for me! :ebil:
A very entertaining way to grass on some fellow thieves. :cheeky:

My screenshot came out dark as hell, despite the gamma setting, and silly me didn't save the game to see whether she would still show up at the other locations after that.
Also, upon first breaking into the keeper library, I managed to make one of the keepers carrying a torch, to slip on an oil spot and smash his head against the wall. Funny thing is, I didn't fail the mission, despite not being allowed to harm any Keepers, so I guess it's more a bug, than my prowess.
No she would have still showed up at the other spots.

Hehehe, I've done that once.
I love the Truart Mansion mission in Thief 2 since there are lots of high walls and high opportunity for sneakyness and mischief. Like the fact that guards can't climb ladders, I was spotted right at the front gate and quickly entered one of the watchtowers and climbed a ladder. I laughed myslef silly as they were shouting at me to come out whilst I was only a couple of centimeters above them.
Drowning unconscious guards is always fun, lol.

When I was doing the Jacknall's Paw mission in Thief: I was sneaking around one of the giant monsters (are they called "bloodroots"?) that patrols the little canal below. So I grabbed a little box, and threw it somewhere so it would run towards it. After it had, it was staying still and its back was towards me. So I jumped through the air and backstabbed the thing as I was falling right behind it. I didn't think such a thing was possible. Because it was, like an airborn backstab.

Those are called Treebeasts. A remake of the T2 baddies.

and notice my suprise when i saw on my stats screen after LoTP, that i had about 5 aerial blackjacks. :cheeky: i felt like such a badass after seeing that.
i love the way everyone in the Thief world except for Garrett doesnt have a concept of a 3rd dimension. get up on a big crate, flashbomb em, jump down, and blackjack em in tha head.
of course, my favorite thing about TDS was the Oil Flasks, set thier price to 1gp, and thier limit to 255+, and get a couple of fire crystals, and you got yourself one hell of a party, especially at the docks. :ebil: i love throwing massive amounts of oil flasks at one side of the docks, go and spook a bunch of guards and civs, get em all down one hallway via the flaming oil trick, and get em to slip to thier watery graves! :cheeky:

Lol.. Especially the Mechanists. They take such a long time to drown and they always prattle on whilst drowning sometimes. Hilarious. Very Shakespeare. :cheeky:

Whaha, yeah I know the trick with drowning clubbed guards XD
The problem is, when you blackjack them, they make the "Oof" sound, and when you throw their bodies into the water, they make the "Aaaargh!" sound. Hmmm...I did think he was unconscious...

Oops!
I completely forgot to try the oil flasks first time around. I'll have to check 'em out next time. I *did* enjoy destroying the Docks, however.

In TDP and TMA, if you find a big hammer or Mechanist mace, run at your intended target, and throw it at them from as close as you can get while still moving forwards, you can inflict great damage on them. Sometimes a one-hit kill. And it doesn't count as a kill, so you can do it on Expert without failing the mission.
I found that one out myself as well and I do it all the time, itis great.:thumb:
