Hey Koki, did CoD5 have quick time events and sloppy map design, that felt rushed and totally linear?

If you're trying to imply that CoD4 was linear, I agree. But so are all the other CoD titles. And from what I saw of CoD5, it was totally linear too.

No, CoD3 had QTEs and the map design felt rushed and sloppy, compared to CoD2.
CoD2 at least had the illusion of partial non-linearity. CoD3 did have the occasional multiple paths in every other level, but the choice was very blatant and unnatural, if you get what I'm saying. The NPCs would literally say to you "Soldier, you can go left or right."

I haven't played CoD5 a lot (I played it on a friends computer), but what I saw, although visually stunning, gameplay-wise was more of the style of CoD3, not CoD4
Uh, CoD5 is gameplay-wise pretty much identical to 4. Except the enemies don't respawn indefinitely, I guess that's new

We definitely must've played different games. Japs hardly threw any grenades at all.
What difficulty did you play on? I've seen that while my bro was playing Veteran, everyone was about as nade-happy as a 4 year-old with the 2x Grenade perk, only they had like... 1,000 each and threw one every second and a half.
It seemed to me to be much more pronounced in the Russian levels, though; those Krauts loved their potato-mashers.

Well I only tried it on Normal and the highest diff. On normal it really wasn't so bad(And certainly better then CoD4 RPG spam), on highest it was quite silly but I didn't get far in that mode.

Aye, it gets much, much worse. I've seen my bro get some half a dozen grenades tossed at him at once by Jerry, and while he was running, a dozen more came flying overhead!

Come on, that is ridiculous. I always play my CoD games on Veteran. One of the few games that improves as the difficulty rises, instead of just beefing up enemy hit-points *cough cough Return to Castle Wolfenstein* Won't be w/this one, though. Just doesn't sound fun.

Cool, just send me the save after the burning house section.

It does get annoying after a while, but all in all, I'd say its about as pleasant an experience as one ought to expect from a Veteran difficulty run-thru of a FPS like World at War, just watch out for flying nades.
