I feel so young here :laff:
I'm 17, played DP way back in good old 1998. Loved the series ever since :D

I wouldn't have been able to play Thief at age six either. I would've fainted due to the amazing graphics. :laff:

I am 20, played Thief Dark Project when it was released, so I was something around 9 or 10 years of age. Needless to say that Bonehoard and the abondoned quarter with all its undead freaked the hell out of me, it eventually took me 1,5 years to finish the game. Boy was I amazed when I finally reached the maw of chaos...:D
It was my favorite game besides Unreal Tournament, and guess what, 11 years and hundreds of new games later they are still my favorites.

Haha, I didn't say I finished it in 1998 :laff:
Got to the Bonehoard, cried, and didn't return to the game until a year or so later.
I thought about it all the time though. And couldn't wait until the day I was brave enough to return to the game again :D

I'm 18 and played Thief when I was quite young, a a year or two after it came out though. I had a similar experience to Jilly but it came on Escape rather than the Bonehoard. Up to that point I'd been able to work my way through on normal, BJing some people and killing most (I now shudder at my uncivilized antics), however, once I reached Escape, I found that my usual tactics of fighting and running away were no longer effective and gave up after repeatedly being clobbered by the beasties. A year later I came back and tried it again and suddenly realized that I had overlooked the key skill of Thief: Stealth! After that I really enjoyed and haven't stopped yet.

Thief seems to cover a broad age audience! - Happy birthday in advance, Lynx67!

21. Bad thing about being born in late July - good chance that you won't have all your friends in town, especially if you're not the sort who plans ahead. Good thing about it - everything else, baby! :thumb:

Maybe us geriatrics should form a club. :thumb::thumb:
I knew I weren't the oldest, but we have yet to hear from Broken Art's friend who is in the 80's as I recall.
