Don't ask me.
Never made it past about the third level of TDP before getting bored (which is weird, cause I love TMA and TDS). Too many undead perhaps.
Besides, I thought the point was that Garrett doesn't have a fued with Karras - Truart wants to clean the city up, and G is kind of notorious so to try and cut himself some slack breaks into the Police station to frame what's his name. Then the watch get tipped off and you escape from the meeting in the pub, then go listen in on Karras demonstrating his plan to Truart.
You go to the bank to swipe the recording, so Karras probably hears about that and assumes it's this thief that's been causing the trouble and so leaves the recording/trap in Angelwatch, then once you've messed with the dig in the forgotten city that's when Karras really starts to get annoyed with you messing with his plans.
At which point you're just a few levels shy of working out what exactly he's doing and trying to stop him.
Best guess on why Karras might tip Truart off about Garrett before then is simply because it's a name of a talented criminal that he's heard of - he's trying to court influence over the Nobles, so name-dropping and identifying a criminal that's plagued them to the Watch is as good a political move as any.

 You owe it to yourself to go play the whole damn thing right now. Yes, the third level (Bonehoard) is filled with the undead, and yes, there are more undead and supernatural oddities and demons later on. But there's more human stuff too, and the whole game just kicks ass.
Oh well. I really liked Bonehoard anyways, awesome-tastic level.

I recommend playing it through too - there will be other missions that you probably don't like either (the one that I consider the worst of all missions I've ever played is still ahead of you) but it will be worth it for one particular mission towards the end (it's likely that you'll even start to like undead missions after that).

Yeah - I knew everyone around here was going to tell me to go play the first Thief game.
No. I'm not going to.
(I don't have time - maybe some other period of my life)
Now can we get back to the topic please?

Being as your knowledge about the topic is limited due to your lack of information from the first game (TDP), I suggest you listen.
You really don't have the necessary to further the topic, unless you want to throw speculation into it.

May I Ask Which One This Is ?

That's probably not such a good idea because it's just a matter of opinion. If he tells you, when you get to that mission the phrase "worst of all missions" could be in the back of your mind all the time and undermine your own experience.
(two possible missions spring to mind, based on what people have said in the past [hint, hint]. I however, really liked one of them)

Oh I've gone through this many times in the past allready so it shouldnt have too much effect.
But yeah I have a few ideas what it SHOULD be

Well, since you asked (and I admit that I've said this in another thread already): I consider The Sword the worst mission ever and doubt that I would've finished TG unless I had known that there could be better missions later (but I did because I had played T2 first). I know that some say that they have had similar thougths at first and then began to like it but in my case that just won't happen since I can't even consider trying it anymore. I guess players that have played T2 first like Thief in a different way than those who started with TDP but I nevertheless recommend playing TG too even if you've started with T2 or TDS since at least for me it did expand my view of the Thief universe and in particular I began to enjoy undead missions as well - the enjoyment and intensity of the game is the same as when you're sneaking around human opponents but the feeling is also slightly different and I appreciate the variation. I would've missed out on quite a few good FMs if I hadn't changed the "undead missions suck" view that I had after T2.
Anyway, I think it's more meaningful to discuss what missions are really good since whilst some players enjoy missions that others hate there are also some missions that everybody likes (e.g. LOTP, RTC). Since if what people consider good about them is known, similar (and even better) FMs that everybody enjoys can be created :)
