I'm looking forward to all these missions :thumb:

The mind is starting to churn a bit here, I'm thinking down the road, maybe some kind of abandoned mission contest, failed project contest, something like that. All entrants are required to finish a level previously started by another author. We could subtitle it, "The Haplo Method."

Wait, why is that funny?
Sounds like an interesting and fruitful contest, especially if two or three entrants do the same mission. (T2G missions should be fair game as well.)

I think that we will have enough material for another 5+ years of such contests ;)

It would have some awesome entries too, seeing as they worked on them as long as entries that made the deadline, and they can continue to work on them for the duration of another deadline. They'd potentially be much better entries than if they rushed to meet the first deadline.

Abandoned mission contest sounds fun! I'd be all for that!

Thanks, Gnartsch! This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for. I didn't realize there were no contests for Thief: Dark Project / Gold, though.

Well, there was never a 'Dark Project / Gold' contest, but on the other hand there was only one 'Metal Age' contests (if I am not mistaken).
In fact I think the contests were always open and allowed the authors to decide which game to choose.
But indeed probably 95% of the missions are Thief 2.

Can I participate too?

This year, 2018, is the 20th anniversary of Thief. I'm replaying many of my old favourite fms, and finding the games are still compelling.
So I was wondering.....
Was there a 10th anniversary contest in 2008? Komag had good listings but his site isn't working, and I can't find another that lists according to date.
Suggestions?
