Its probably more than just Meth heads. The North-West part of Georgia is home to much of the production phase of Atlanta's Meth industry. Since there's an almost nonexistent police presence in the area, Atlanta's cartels employ locals to run meth labs scattered throoughout the Appalachian foothills and then cart the product down to sell in the metropolitan area.
Short version: the group that ransacked the pharmacies is probably a little more professional than you guys give them credit for.

A small tornado went through my hometown (near Saginaw) in North Texas last night.
Inline Image:
http://i54.tinypic.com/w8pcap.jpg AFAIK it mostly went north of town, some countryside & housing developments, also looks like it wasn't always touching the ground; haven't heard what damage if any... But it went at least through 3 towns and over a lake, so going on like an hour or more.
My mother was having a party and apparently the sirens went off but people were still just milling around oblivious that an actual tornado was sighted not far away (they hardly even got rain).
AND a more serious tornado went through my grandparents hometown of Chickasha OK.
AND over the weekend while I visited my dad in Bridgeport, they said there might be a tornado and they showed a line going right over where we were. I remember looking out the window and seeing a distinct wall of clouds slowly rotating as it crawled by, just about a half mile from the house. Really unnerving.
So... weather is going crazy this year, no?

A little too. (

So has anyone heard from Tocky in the last few days? I believe he lives in southern Missouri, nearish to Joplin. He hasn't posted since the 22nd. I hope he's okay. : \

Nope. North Mississippi near Oxford. I'm fine as a frog hair. The last tornados to pass through here were those that hit you, Renz. It blew some trees over but that's all. Thanks for thinking of me though. Hmmm kinda stormy out there now too.
Yep. Crazy weather. I hear Texas gets more tornados than anywhere but then it's twice as big as anywhere else too.

There was even a touchdown in the Colorado mountains. First time I can remember one touching down at that altitude.
