I'll second that.

I think people should be greatful that atlest is was a thief game. It's not like they turned Garrett into a character of different build, eye colour, attuide, living on a true-ish earth fighting with guns and swords because they claim better graphics means completely redesigning a character.
as Beleg said, Thief DS is done, it's out! That gives people two options:
1) Don't reguard it as a Thief game and just don't bother with it (In which case, why moan about a game which doesn't exist in your cannon?)
2) Enjoy it as a not great part but a part never the less (In which case, you can complain about bits but as a creator myself, i can say people that just moan about the bad but not comment on the good are the kind of people that MAKE the games get worse and worse because the companies and creators feel "What's the point of trying if these tossers are just gonna complain")
For Thief.. I'll happly go with option 2.. for some junk of Sega... I'll always go with option 1 but Thief DS is more closer to Thief then that green eyed human is to the ol' bluey...

And I think TTLG needs a breathalyzer lock on the Submit button.

Don't like that idea much - just think how many less posts there'd be...:cheeky:

Yep, i said the insults would be heading my way.. the point i was pretty clearly (though maybe not clear enough) making was that it was a thief game more then a beat'em up with Garrett, or some Quake Clone with Garrett. While there was far less loot to get in T:DS, it was still a game where you were a thief trying to walk in the shadows, it wasn't some American Swat Team game where you had to go into a place, killing everyone in site, or anything.
It was also a comment on how many games the makers try to change so much to turn them into the 'in style' more then it's own style. I'm not a Mario fan and really, the whole Mario style has changed with every game but BMX games were in, so they did a Mario BMX game, Go-kart games were in, so they did a Mario Kart game, RPG's were in, so they did a Mario RPG, Sports games were in, So they did Mario Sports games, Golf games were in, So they did a Mario Golf game, Painting games were in, so they did a Mario Paint game.. As you should see, with Thief DS, it was a Thief game (Even if not so much thief as in the game Series) it wasn't Garrett Golf! or anything. Games which, while they can be fun mini-games, aren't main games in the series..
I know TTLG isn't one of the nicest places on the net, with the friendliest people, but i always feel sorry for the good people when the bad take over. I'll over look the direct insult of calling me a drunkard because of lack of knowledge about me.

After long and careful analysis, I've discovered that you're an idiot with an arguing style that revolves entirely around <STRIKE>being an asshole with little valid substance to contribute</STRIKE> not agreeing that T1/2 are best.
Long and careful analysis of 12 posts?:laff:

To the great surprise of no one, Kurshok_Warrior fails his Detect Sarcasm roll.
