I'm back, playing BioShock recently kinda brought me back to this place.
Anyway, lately a lot of the big PC releases aren't PC games, they're console games on the PC. You know what I'm talking about, the games that have a main screen that says "Press ENTER" or "Press Any Button" like RE5 (avg), Batman (good), Red Factions G (terrible). It's not like me to start something and not finish it, but I uninstalled all of them. It's not enjoyable to me if I have to force myself to play them.
The last good pc title I played and enjoyed was Risen. What are some true pc games that you've played within the last year or so that you've enjoyed?

ArmA 2 and The Void - two reasons to be a PC gamer this year (at least they were for me - though I haven't played Risen yet).

Call of Pripyat and a bunch of great indie games (freeware seen on tigsource). I hear The Void is great, but haven't played it yet.

Yeah, Call of Pripyat. Can't wait for that. Void is also high on the list.
I still got hopes for Deus Ex 3 as far as the script is concerned cus Sheldon Pacotti's involved, there's a >50% chance I'll be disappointed in the game itself but hey :cheeky:
