Here's an idea. I have seen many times it suggested that there is no gang of thugs in Comm Chat ready to descend on Thief Genners and inflict words of cruelty upon them. Maybe this is true, and maybe it's not. There have been open invitations for the taffers of this forum to join their Comm Chat brethren in the usual nutshausiness without any bias against them. Honestly, I don't think anyone has anything to lose by taking them up on this offer.
Consider:
From what I understand, any member of the forum can be expected to be treated in Comm Chat exactly how the usuals in Comm Chat treat one another. There will be taunting, teasing, personal insults, flaming, trolling, even ganging-up-on. That's how they act toward eachother and I highly suspect that they like it that way, so you can certainly expect the same kind of treatment if you go in there.
Also consider:
If just one or two of you venture into those waters I suspect there will be some discomfort. But remember, you do have friends there. If enough of you decide to engage in the off-topic discussions, I think you'll all quickly find that the friends quite outnumber the nasty folks.
Now if you don't mind, I'll have some of whatever BA is serving Jason.

Oh, yeah, wtf. I mean, seriously, people take things waay too seriously. I read all 17 pages of this, that, and the other thread, and I still just don't care. We can talk, post, chat, PM anytime we like. I haven't had any complaints and don't expect to.

I agree with Hit Deity. TTLG's alive and well. The envy of the gaming community, even. At least those who know who the hell we even are.
We can disagree and call each other 'elitists' and 'pricks' and 'terrorists'... and 'elitist prick terrorists', but I still wouldn't change a single thing about it. I've been coming here for over half a decade, even when I wasn't actively posting. Every forum has its peaks and valleys.
