I can't find a crash log. I see crash.dmp, but it's just full of nonsense characters when I open it in notepad. :(

I couldn't tell you which one it was, since I didn't shut them off iteratively. I disabled all the mods and turned off bloom, and now it's working great!

disabling patches might not be such a good idea. how did you disable the mods exactly?
