i made some error about "unload texture" when i reloaded the mission , the map appear a fully Jorge retextured !
some question
1* how load all the family in fam folder
2* It seems like that my Dromed loves only .Gif files , and not all for example dromed crash with gif at 1024x1024
3* my Dromed can't read .DDs , dromed crash when i try to load a folder with 10 textures inside
4* very important how retexture 10 brushes together , is there some hide feature ?

If all your textures turn to Jorge, do not save or optimize your mission. Put all the texture families back exactly the way you had them, with the same filenames. You don't have to reload them, they should be recognized automatically again.
Did you try using .png or .tga to test if 'your dromed' can only recognize .gif files? If you're using .gif files aren't you still stuck using palettes? Seems an unneeded hassle now, unless they give a certain atmosphere to the mission the way they are.
I never tried .dds files before, but I just got one to load no problem, using the exact same method I would use for any other texture. Dumb question, but are they the right size?
Or in your cam_ext.cfg file, is the "use_d3d_display" set to on? Is the "force_32bit" option set to on as well?
There's also an option to run dromed in hardware rendering mode with "d3d_disp_enable_hdr". You can try turning that on. Maybe the .dds files don't work unless it's on.
Lastly, there's no quick way to retexture 10 brushes at once, unless you call manually doing it 'quick'.

That's not the one. HDR fancy graphical effects. To enable hardware in Dromed, the option you want is ;editor_disable_gdi without the ; (in Dromed.cfg)

It sure sounds like you're still using OldDark Dromed (v1.18). Have you updated to NewDark, v1.19 or higher? The latest is v1.21.

i'm using a Dromed 1.21 with alot of costum lights...how you can see from the screenshots that i posted ,here somewhere
