The Kanin survey in your link is a (
http://amptoons.com/blog/2009/04/15/eugene-kanins-study-of-false-rape-reports/) bit dubious. Problems apparently include not saying what small town he was surveying, so no-one can double check the data. It also relies on victims recanting which doesn't mean necessarily mean it's false rape, could just be them wanting to disengage with the justice system.
