When I launch them through DarkLoader v4.3 the first mission of T2 starts. Anyone faced this problem?

i have the problem all the time, the simple fix is to just skip mission = ctrl, shift, alt, end at same time will skip mission, then you will see the correct mission will play next

I've had this problem with several missions in past, today it happened with the new one Working Late.

Working Late is a NewDark mission created for Thief1/Gold, not for T2!
DarkLoader can not identify what game NewDark missions have been designed for.
So, better switch to FMSel immeditely.

The cltr+alt+shift+end method works so I don't need this FMSel.

because why would you want something working properly, if you can duct-tape it and pretend it's fine, right?

Hmm... DL fires it up correctly on my end, so it could be an install or pathing issue.
gnartsch: Why don't you make yourself useful and come beta-test my latest travesty. :joke:

No, it doesn't work. You can't load up a T1/TG mission in T2. Even if you use the mission skip, you'll still get a whole bunch of missing textures, which is something downwinder is constantly complaining about, so I don't know why he suggested it.
Use (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140093) FMSel, it's easy and foolproof (depending on the fool).

This is the fix I use.
1. Install the FM in your FM archive directory as usual.
2. Launch Darkloader and select the FM, but don't launch the mission. Instead, close Darloader once the FM is selected and shows the T2 gear icon.
3. In your Darkloader directory, open the file named darkloader.ini
4. Search for the mission your trying to fix. It should be at the very bottom of the file.
5 Replace the line type=2 with type=1. Save and close the file.
6. Launch Darkloader again
There are fixes to all these problems with playing Thief somewhere on this site. Over the years I have printed out all the fixes that I can expect to come up at some time or another and have them tucked away with my Thief disks.
One is the Clean up of files. Eventually you will play a mission and forget to use the install only button original Thief game when finished. What happens is some of your files get corrupted and sometimes things just go wrong.
Fix to remember
Install the original game missions and delete any remains of the following folders in your main Thief folder.
Pal
Bitmap
Books
Fam
Intrface
Obj
Mesh
Strings
But don't delete movies, crfs or the res folder.
Next, reinstall the mission you want to play and it should load properly.
There probably some others I didn't mention. Keep these fixes because your sure to forget them and will need them at some time or other.
I didn't know about the end mission method. I will try it sometime.
There is also a stating money cheat I occasionally use. Somewhere on the technical threads I think they have them all listed.
