someone please give me an answer that works, when i am supposed to broadcast the evacuation message to the Nsf terrorists, i first rotate the satelites, then open the door, then i go hack the computer and click on the broadcast message button, after i log out, nothing has happened and it says that i still have to send the message in my goals tab, also i cannot save any more

yes , i downloaded the multiplayer patch without backing up my save files, i know that this is the unfinished goals glitch
how do i fix this without restarting the game, should i just get the latest multiplayer patch?

I just started playing this game a couple days ago, and I am having this exact same problem. Since I am so new to the game, I don't know if this is a common problem, or a bug that has been found. If anyone knows, please post the answer here and help us both out (or email me if you want). Thanks!

After a couple hours of searching i found the answer....

the patch that you get from (http://www.deusex.com) www.deusex.com is version 1.104f and apparently a piece of trash.

following links for a bit, i found a list of all the patches, and downloaded 1.109f and installed it. as send as i transmit the message, i get a call from Paul and 300 skill points! excellent!

The 1104 patch is a problem and the 1109 patch causes some bugs too, I hear. The latest patch is 1112, and can be gotten at fileplanet. Try the UK mirrors, I have better luck downloading from them even though I'm in the US.
