I'm sitting here reading everything and realised theres no votey subjects in this forum.
So here goes.
I am a huge Deus ex and thief fan, and I'm just wonderin wat every1's fav weapon is. Mine is the sniper rifle, i'm afraid I just have fetish for them, especially the rifle in unreal tournament. I also like the Gep gun, thats just cool, its even betta when u have full skill for them and can run around with it like a normal gun.

"Wats?" I think you mean "What's." Anyhow, I don't know. I guess it depends on how I'm playing through the game, and what enemy I'm dealing with. Sniper rifle for a ranged hit, GEP for bots, ect. So, I guess I don't have a real favorite weapon.

Sniper Rifle is a good weapon, yes, but I find that it's only good if you get your rifle skills to master level. The scope shakes way to much for you to actually hit something if you don't. Either that or I need some target practice with the sniper.

You definitely need better finger/eye coordination. Even when it shakes so much, you simply ease it into position, and as soon as it hits their head, BAM! Anyhow, you do not have to get your skills up to Master. I only take mine up to trained, then I put all the mods on it and it's good to go.

Advanced and 3 acc. mods will get you rock steady aim with the sniper rifle. One little trick that's worked for me: Use the binoculars to focus on the other guy's head, switch quickly to the sniper and shoot. Gets them 95% of the time on trained.
(Hey, by gamers' standards I'm an old fart, my reflexes aren't what they once were :p )
My favourite weapon is actually the standard 10. I usually bring up my pistol skill to master fairly early in the game, and then it will take down anybody up to and including Anna Navarre with a double tap to the head. Sniper rifle, even on master, sometimes needs two shots and then I'm screwed because of the low rate of fire.
