If the RPS review is anything to go by, expect big difficulty jumps later on.

Even if it were easy all the way through, I wouldn't be disappointed too much. This looks like a game you'd play for the fun of it, not the challenge.

The RPS review is 80% John Walker complaining about how poor the mouse/keyboard controls in a Paper Mario clone are.

It was hard to tell from the pre-release videos, but I'm seriously impressed that they NAILED the construction paper textures.
You know South Park has been animated entirely on computers for over a decade now, right? Obsidian was beyond any shadow of a doubt simply given a copy of the assets used to produce the show. They probably had access to their artists and animators as well, considering they collaborated directly with South Park Digital Studios.

For real. I think they only used construction paper in the first episode really.

Nope. Maybe Thief is just unbalanced or something but I think I Game Over'd like twice in battles through the whole game. And once you get Kyle, it's over. He's got a skill that wipes out pretty much anything in one hit AND is AoE.

Right, and they nailed the construction paper texture that South Park has even though they switched to CGI ages ago. Matt/Trey even commented on this in one of the interviews they did for the game back when it was first announced and they were talking about why they wanted Obsidian to make it for them.

You... uhm... DO realize that "nailing" a CGI texture is just copying a file from one computer to another, right? Right?
