Al...

Also, I don't have internet at home yet (yay moving house), and the game apparently needs internet not only for scoreboards but also for telling you what the score criteria even ARE.
I get
UNKNOWN:
this:765
best:765
UNKNOWN:
this:3
best:3
UNKNOWN:
this:57
best:57
And I haven't done enough playing around to see whether doing it more efficiently increases or decreases the 'best' in each category. I'm guessing the leftmost is "cycles" so should be low as possible, the middle is "reactors" so ditto, and the right is...

It's cycles used, reactors used, and part count.

35 :)
Briareos has got better scores than me on some levels and I'm quite sure that most (all?) could be beaten.

Ah, since some of you are just stating now, figured I'd toss out something that's helpful but never made clear in the game. Only Bonds matter in output, not shape. An L shaped H20 and a straight H20 are the same thing.
Oh, and how do I see the TTLG leaderboards? I think I'd like to compare my bests to it.

Good tip - I hadn't realised that. At the start I was also making life difficult for myself by placing the chemicals in exactly the spot shown in the output. Being able to choose any location makes life much easier - and is useful when linking multiple reactors together.
As far as the leaderboards is concerned - I think it just shows scores for people on your friends list. If you want to add me then my steam name is pretty straightforward.

Haven't been able to get better then 38 cycles on Removing Bonds. Got a 7 part solution though.
Just loaded it up to then be immediately reminded why I stopped. It's world 8, research assignment "Suspicious Behavior". Just the look of it alone was enough to say "Fuck it"
I assume everybody's already noticed you can switch output/inputs to the other side by right clicking on them? It never specifically mentioned that, and I didn't realize it til World 4 - makes a lot of things easier.

My 35 cycle solution (
http://i473.photobucket.com/albums/rr99/Al_Bro/RemovingBonds.png) is here if you're interested although I'm sure it could be improved.
Do you mean switching outputs / inputs by right clicking on the symbols so the red layer can cause an output on the lower area (and vice versa for the blue layer)? If so, I'm impressed you managed to get to world 4 without having to do that. If you mean the physical output location can be changed then I'm missing a trick.

Jesus, you guys really do optimise.
I seem to have a habit of trying to do everything in as few reactors as possible, but as a consequence making things really, really complicated (trying to get a reactor to do 5 different things to each batch of five incoming waters, for instance).
And they're all full of loops.:erg:
