"Saber Interactive has an excellent vision of the market and the industry, with creative teams able to come up with crazy and spectacular game concepts able to conquer a massive number of players like World War Z or MudRunner. In addition to great creative minds, they also are talented developers, creating high-technologies like both the impressive World War Z “Swarm Engine” or the MudRunner “Advanced Physics Engine” allowing the studio to cook outstanding and unique gaming experiences." - John Bert, COO of Focus Home Interactive
Mix Mudrunner's physics with World War Z's zombie swarms and you get... well, I don't know exactly what but I'm pretty sure it's something to get hyped about!

One of these days, I'm going to buy the game with which you drive the trucks through the mud.
...and throwing zombies into the mix might just be the way to do it. I imagine situations where you have to haul dump trucks full of survivors away from a town infested with undead, zombies swarming you all the while, but you can't drive away fast, because of all the mud.

That actually sounds kind of awesome.

I'm not being sarcastic here. Spintires with a horror movie setting would be 10 different types of grand.

Timed Epic exclusivity. Tim Sweeney already paid for your copy, so you can pirate it with a clean concious.

*a muddy, disheveled henke stumbles out of the forrest*
I've, uh, been doing a lot of trucking in the last few days.
This game does for Mudrunner what The Hunter: Call of the Wild did for The Hunter. It turns the whole thing into a more accessible open-world game while still retaining the hardcore gameplay of the original. It's really heartening that weird, niche sims like these are getting the AAA open-world treatment. The maps are the same size as Mudrunner, but now they connect to neighbouring areas via tunnels. Rebuilding bridges or clearing up rock-slides lets you access new areas. I've explored all of Michigan so far, but have barely touched Alaska or the Russian region. There's more diversity in the missions as well. Delivery, truck-salvage, time trials, big multi-stage construction projects. You get new trucks/equipment by either finding it through exploration or leveling up. I was stuck trudging through mud with highway trucks early on, but now I've got a nice stable of off-road trucks, exploration vehicles, and heavy duty trucks. Overall, it's good!
